When my husband and I went looking for a new home, we literally viewed about 60 homes. Of all those homes, we kept returning to the homes that Highland Builders had on the market. The designs were outstanding, as well as the quality of workmanship and building supplies used on the homes. After a missed opportunity on purchasing one of Highland's model homes, my husband approached Todd and Shane to see if they could re-create the model home we fell in love with while on our search. Working with Todd and Shane was a wonderful experience. Building our dream home was so easy and affordable with their help and expertise. The painters even helped me with going a little bolder on my colors and their advice was awesome. The contrasts were beautiful. The architecture is unique from every curve to every peak. Todd is truly talented. They also gave us ideas for the future and installed things that would make projects down the road so easy. They were there for us even after the closing for any questions we had. Everything turned out perfectly and I would not change a thing. Everyone that has walked through my home has loved it. Little did we realize when we first contacted you in July that we would subsequently develop an almost daily working relationship with you two during the duration of our project. Throughout the remodeling process, your leadership was essential. Your initial advice during the planning was excellent. You helped us make many critical decisions. The project schedule was a good balance between busy days with lots of activity and days off for us to recover. You continued to give us good advice, answer our many questions and guide us throughout the project. We are particularly grateful for your close attention to and supervision of the project. You were always available to communicate with us, to meet with the workers, making certain they knew what to do and to follow up inspecting for accuracy. In addition, we were most appreciative of your willingness to help in a variety of ways. For example, you personally helped sweep up the floors after demolition day. Then you went the extra mile when you got down on your hands and knees outdoors, scraping some pink debris which got stuck on the paving stones. We don't believe that there are very many (any?) other general contractors who would do that. Your Christian ethics were evident throughout the project. If we were 20 or 30 years younger and had the finances for it, we would love to have you design and build a new house for us! You can be sure that we always speak highly of your work to our friends, and would always recommend you to anyone thinking about building or remodeling.
